Wedding Dress: The Origin of Bridal Dress

Almost every bride wears a wedding dress in the ceremony. How did the first wedding dress come out? Behind the dress, there was an affecting love story.

In the wedding day, the bridal always wears gorgeous wedding dresses, which has been a custom. The wedding dress makes the beautiful bridal more lovely, and left the unforgotten wedding another beautiful scenery. Then when did the wedding dress become the wedding dress in the wedding called wedding dress ?

Wedding is a traditional ceremony popular in worldwide from the ancient periods. But it has not been 200 years that the woman wears wedding dress . The embryo of the wedding dress was back between 1700 BC and 1550 BC. At that time what the royal family's women wore the clothes that bare best, the sleeves was stretched to the elbow, chest and waist being tied below the breast by cotton rope and the lower part were bell-shaped and overall tightly fitting dresses. Now the white wedding dress worn by the brides is the Catholic ceremony's dress. In the ancient European country, people must wear white ceremony dress to show prayer and blessing to the god to have a legal marriage. So, the bridal wears white ceremony dress to show the god her sincerity and purity. Before 19th century, there was no unified color for wedding dress until 1820. The wedding dress is unified to the white color. Now, some people don't understand the origin of the wedding dress , they try to be different that make the wedding dress 's color to be pink or light blue. In fact, only if the remarriage women can wear the pink or light blue dress as a distinction from the first marriage.

There is a moving story about the origin of the first wedding dress . In the 16th century, the royal Irish loved hunting. In a summer afternoon, the royal family takes their hunting gun out. They were hunting in the small town in the north of Irish, the Richard earl fell in love in the first sight of rose miss, who was washing clothes along the river. Richard earl was attracted by rose miss's innocence and elegant temperament. At the same time rose miss is being attracted by Richard earl. When Richard earl was encouraged to propose to the royal family that he wanted to marry rose miss, the royal was objected for the defiance of the royal family's descent. In order to let Richard earl giving up, the royal proposed an almost couldn't finished task that they hoped rose miss to sew a white gown which must fit the length that from the royal Irish's church to the marriage witness flat.

It seemed to be a finished task but the rose miss finally made it in the help of the residents of the town. They sewed a delicate and simple design line also gorgeous white st. gown, which was 16 meters long. The royal family was moved by the design notion. Finally in the allowance of the Irish's king and queen, they held a fairy-tale and sacred wedding.

As the time goes on the style of wedding dresses have change a lot, but the meaning carried by the wedding dress remained unchanged.
